Meet Stormy!

Stormy is a sweet, happy go lucky 1 year old male German Shepherd mix.

While he basically looks like a GSD, we think he is probably mixed with something a bit smaller,

At a year old and around 45 pounds, we don't expect him to get much larger.

If you love GSDs, but don't necessarily want the larger size that generally comes with them, this is definitely the boy for you!

Story was rescued from a local shelter when his owners never came looking for him and no one wanted to adopt him because he was heartworm positive.

We sprung him from his cell, treated him for heartworm disease, and he now has a clean bill of health!

Stormy loves people of all ages and sizes.

He's a very social boy, and never meets a stranger.

He is bouncy and happy and loves to run and play.

He is fantastic with other dogs (as you can in one of his pictures, where he is pplaying with is foster sister), and is great with kids as well.

We do recommend school aged children and older, due to his activity level.

Cats are probably not a good idea, as he has shown a serious interest in chasing them.

As with all of our dogs, we recommend a basic obedience class to help him understand what is expected of him, and this also helps with the bonding process.

Stormy's adoption fee is $475, which covers all her vetting, preventatives, fostering costs and other associated expenses.

We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.

***We are unable to adopt to residents in the state(s) of Rhode Island and Massachusetts due to the regulations within the state.
